Why It Matters

The cost-of-living crisis continues to affect people across Wales, placing growing pressure on households and increasing the risk of hardship. Community and Town Councils are a vital local lifeline—often the first point of contact for those in need. One Voice Wales is here to support you in delivering meaningful, practical help with confidence and compassion.

How We Support You

This project provides a dedicated online hub of resources tailored to Community and Town Councils. You’ll find guidance, toolkits, case studies, funding opportunities, training, and webinar recordings across key areas such as food support, warm spaces, transport, wellbeing, and more. Each themed section includes real-world examples, practical tools, and links to further support.

Whether your council is already running initiatives or looking to get started, we’re here to help you share ideas, build capacity, and make a real difference locally. Get in touch, explore our resources, and join a network of councils working together to support communities through the crisis.

Join the One Voice Wales Cost-of-Living Crisis Forum

We’ve created a Cost-of-Living Crisis Community to facilitate peer-to-peer learning and support. Our dedicated Facebook group provides a space for councils to connect, share best practices, ask questions, and seek advice on cost-of-living-related issues. The One Voice Wales Cost-of-Living Crisis Team will also share guidance, resources, and signposting links within this forum.
