One Voice Wales is pleased to support VE Day 80 commemorations
One Voice Wales was pleased to be represented at a service of thanksgiving marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day, held at Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff on 7 May 2025.
The ecumenical service celebrated the contribution of many communities around Wales during World War II and remembered the sacrifices made by so many. Peace, harmony, respect, and praise were key messages from this bilingual event.
The congregation included the Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of Cardiff, First Minister, other civic dignitaries, church leaders and veterans. Representatives attended from many parts of Wales. Stirring anthems and thoughtful readings added to the tone of the event.
